A peer-led research network for PGRs conducting emotionally demanding research
We are a collective of PhD students from the Midlands who are researching complex and emotionally demanding topics across the social sciences. We have a diverse range of interests and methodological skills both in qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
We are aimed at PhD students within the MGS ESRC DTP, however we accept members from across the Midlands to allow for a greater exchange of knowledge, skills and support throughout the Midlands.
Please browse our website and access our resources, view our recent news, or contact us.
SRN Midlands membership is free! It is open to Post Graduate Researchers (PGRs) and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in the Midlands who are currently researching sensitive topics. If you are interested in joining the network, please email the team:
Our goal is to collect, synthesise, and curate evidence and resources on emotionally demanding research.
