Why Bluesky and not X/Twitter you may ask? Mark Carrigan¹ puts it quite succinctly, it's time to move on. The transformation of the platform, since Elon Musk's takeover in 2022, has turned Twitter into a platform which mimics the characteristics of alt-media sites. Whilst there is no true alternative to Twitter, we are moving away and using Bluesky and LinkedIn.
